Course Description

The purpose of this course is to introduce graduate students to the techniques involved in delivering scientific presentations. Students and professors provide feedback on presentations by means of written and oral evaluations. The course is designed to improve verbal presentation skills and the ability to communicate with biologists in diverse fields of research.

Course Details

Students will be required to prepare and deliver various types of presentations and critique several departmental seminars. The final grade will be based on the presentations given and active participation in class activities.
