Job Description

BIOL 324 Introduction to Seed Plant Taxonomy - 3 credits. 
Course Description: Introduction to seed plant taxonomy emphasizing descriptive morphology and identification. Each student will be required to submit a plant collection.

Primary duties include coordinating and teaching two lab sections online per week, moderating discussion forums, developing and deploying online activities, supervising graduate Teaching Assistants, grading assignments and exams. The term runs from September 1 – December 31, 2020. Online labs are Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2-5pm.

Candidates should have a PhD in Botany or related field, and relevant teaching experience at the post-secondary level in the areas of ecology and evolution.

The current minimum salary for a 3 credit course is $7806.12.
